Facing out over a four acre meadow in which you are free to walk, play or relax, set away from any roads in private gated gardens, and surrounded by countryside that is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty, and much of which is owned by the National Trust, these beautiful refurbished stone cottages are in a perfect position to give easy access to the legion of glories that is Cornwall. We are just three miles from the gorgeous sailing town of Fowey, the home of the Daphne Du Maurier festival, a mixture of quaint and cosmopolitan, bursting with eclectic shops and gorgeous restaurants, and sited at the mouth of the stunning Fowey estuary and river. We are perfect for secluded sandy beaches, such as Lantic and Lantivet Bay, and Par Sands, and staggeringly beautiful coastal walks, such as the Hall Walk, the Coast Walk, and the Saints Way which straddles Cornwall from coast to coast. Bodmin Moor with Jamaica Inn made famous by Daphne Du Mauriers novel of the same name; historic Truro or nautical Plymouth for shopping and sightseeing; the world renowned Padstow, lovely Looe, and quaint picturesque Polperro; the Roseland Peninsula with the pretty fishing village of Mevagissey; the remarkable Charlestown with its famous tall ships and fabulous pubs; lovely Carlyon Bay, and the sandy sunny haven that is Readymoney Cove; the "fairest of all small cities" Lostwithiel, with its many antiques and crafts, and award winning restuarants and cafes; the many gardens and golf courses that Cornwall is renowned for such as Heligan, Lanhydrock, St Mellion, Trevose, and of course the Eden Project, are all within easy reach.
