I think we can all agree that the climate is changing wherever we are, and we are all having to adjust. We have had a great year so far, watching this happen all around us.
We believe that the land here is beginning to adjust to the adverse weather conditions and so are our guests. We are seeing more and more people taking advantage of what Cornwall has to offer, regardless of the season, and enjoying their getaway whatever the weather.
Right now we have been experiencing some gloriously sunny days and thriving gardens that are teeming with wildlife.
This week alone we have several resident families, including foxes, deer, hedgehogs, swallows, buzzards, dragonfly and even woodpeckers (one of which has been eating cucumbers from the greenhouse). Heading out on the river you will see heron, cormorant, egrets, and even possibly seals and dolphins.
You just have to look for it and it is all around.
Biodiversity is an important part of our eco-system and at Hybadore we are very lucky that you can see endless evidence of that here.
