Today we managed to save a swarm of bees
Yesterday we were greeted by a large group of scout bees desperately trying to find a new hive, thanks to the wonderful Anne and Ian McCarthy for assisting us in creating an imitation hive. We were unsure as to whether they would be interested but a phial of pheromone and a little lemongrass oil popped inside the hive was enough to encourage them. As you all know bees are vital for our natural habitat and we are incredibly pleased that they will be able to protect there queen and continue their work đ
